In this question you are required to provide reasons how and why the fitness service you have selected positively impacts short and long term health of young people. Short term health refers to immediately and long term is what effect physical activity/fitness has on the body over a number of years.

What are the issues with physical activity in the local community?
- A vast amount of sedentary behaviour at lunch time
- Lack of affordable physical activity options on the weekends/holidays
- Lower boys/girls participation in organised sport in Year 10
- Students sedentary or a vast majority of the school day - relationship on the ability for students get 10000 steps.
- Young people, adults, elderly not engaging in local fitness options or services
What are some ideas that you could propose to the Inner West Council?
- An upgrade of facilities in a current or future location specific to a population group
- A personalised fitness circuit which address goals, the health components of fitness that meet the needs of different people in the Inner West
- Funding for an initiative at a local primary or secondary school, childcare centre or nursing home
- The launch of an online fitness module/mobile phone application
- The introduction of regular fitness programs in local schools, school holiday programs and youth centres
